Job Description

Social Worker (LCSW/LMFT)

The Social Worker will work at our Solano Psychiatric Health Facility (PHF) in Fairfield, CA. Telecare and Solano County jointly operates a 16-bed PHF that provides psychiatric rehabilitation treatment services to adults who are in the acute phase of their psychiatric illness.


The individual provides general casework services to assigned clients and their families. This involves coordinating and collaborating with other services and agencies such as the Conservator's Office, Public Defender's Office, Child Protective Services, Probation Department and County Mental Health Services.


REQUIREMENTS:

-One year of direct service experience with severely or persistently mentally ill adults in an inpatient or outpatient setting is required
-Masters Degree in Social Work or in Counseling from an accredited graduate school
-License from the State of California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
-Valid California Driver's License
-Ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team, a thorough understanding of client rights, an understanding of the conservatorship process and knowledge of basic medical and psychiatric terminology
-Criminal background clearance and education verification are required
