Position Description:
The LVN assists the Practitioner in the delivery of nursing care and is required to dispense medications in addition to performing all duties and responsibilities of the Medical Assistant. Must follow physician orders and give the patient their discharge instructions. Need to use the clinic's fee schedule and complete the patient's Superbill documenting all charges and diagnosis. Must follow route slips for physicals and drug screens completing the necessary forms.
Job Specifications
[Required] LVN, CPR, IV, and blood withdrawal skills. High School Grad/Equiv and Urgent Care experience.
[Preferred] ACLS, PALS, and/or knowledge of electronic medical records. Spanish bilingual a plus.
